Once your enrolment is confirmed, Drive Master Academy will email you a link to access the online Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course.

The online BDE course does not expire, so you can learn at your own pace. DMA’s published guidance says to complete it within one year of enrolment to meet MTO requirements for reduced auto insurance. Confirm eligibility and any discount with your insurer; a discount is not guaranteed.

DMA’s published FAQ says the BDE course is offered online only. The existing registration form also contains a dated September classroom option. Please call DMA to confirm any classroom availability before selecting it.

Notify your instructor of any schedule changes at least 24 hours before your lesson. The first time you do not give this notice, you receive a warning and the lesson is rescheduled. On the second occasion, the missed lesson is counted as completed and deducted from your package, and a $55 fee is payable to the instructor.

DMA’s published FAQ allows refunds up to three business days after the initial package purchase. After that, purchases are final sale, although DMA may issue refunds at its discretion. The registration terms also describe discretionary refunds on a case-by-case basis. Please confirm with DMA before purchasing if you need clarification.

When road-test support is included in your package, you can request most alternative DriveTest centres. An additional fee is payable to the instructor for an alternative location. Ask DMA to confirm the location and fee before booking.
